Dr. Winchell graduated from Midwestern University Chicago in 2003. He completed residency at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in 2006. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Winchell has been in practice for more than 12 years, serving as the Director of EMS Services at Banner Desert Hospital. He works in both adult and pediatric emergency medicine, and has a special interest in pre-hospital care.
